The Farm Stall
🛍️

Click & collect for farm shops and stalls

Let buyers order and pay online, then collect in person when it suits you both — no card machine, no hardware, and no need for anyone to be at the stall when the order's placed.

Included on the Lite plan and above — from £4.99/mo

How it works

  1. 1 Connect your bank account and set your collection point, hours and how much notice you need.
  2. 2 Switch click & collect on for whichever products make sense — listing by listing, not all-or-nothing.
  3. 3 Buyers add items to a basket and pay online — once, for everything, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
  4. 4 Mark the order ready when it's prepared — buyers are emailed automatically — then mark it collected when they pick it up, or scan their collection code to do it in one tap.

Take a deposit on anything priced by weight

Turkeys, joints of meat, anything where the final price depends on the actual weight — you don't have to charge an estimate upfront. Set a flat deposit on the listing instead, and buyers pay just that to secure their order. Once it's weighed, type in the real figure and the balance is worked out automatically from your per-kg rate — then send a link for the exact amount.

Worked example: a turkey priced at £13.50/kg, average weight 6kg (≈£81 estimate), with a £25 deposit. The buyer pays £25 upfront. Once weighed at 6.3kg, the balance comes to £60.05 — sent as a payment link, paid from the buyer's phone.

Common questions

What is click and collect for a farm shop?

Buyers order and pay online, then collect in person at a time that suits them. There's no need for you to be present when they pay, and no need for the buyer to be at your stall to place the order.

Can I take a deposit instead of charging full price upfront?

Yes. Set a flat deposit on any listing — especially useful for anything priced by weight, like a Christmas turkey — and buyers pay just that at checkout. You charge the exact remaining balance once you know the real weight or price.

Do I need any hardware?

No. Buyers pay online with their own phone. The only optional extra is scanning a buyer's collection code at handover to mark their order collected in one tap.
