About The Farm Stall

Our story

The Farm Stall is built and run by AR Enviro Consultancy Services, a Northern Ireland-based consultancy with 15 years of experience working hands-on with farmers — from environmental compliance and planning to digital services and business development.

Over those 15 years we kept seeing the same gap: farmers doing brilliant things at the farm gate — eggs in a box, veg on a table, honey in jars — but no easy way to be found, no simple way to take payment, and no platform built specifically for the way small agricultural producers actually work. The big marketplaces weren't built for them. So we built something that was.

We grew up on a small family farm just outside Omagh, Co. Tyrone, and we're still involved in day-to-day agricultural life on our own 38-acre farm in Co. Antrim as we look to diversify and build it into a viable rural business. The Farm Stall isn't a tech startup idea — it comes from genuinely living this.

The directory is free for producers, always. What we're building alongside it — payments, QR codes, online ordering — is there for the sellers who want to go further, when they're ready.
